    Job Description

    The Analyst provides support to the Real Estate Operations (Property Operations) Team in the areas of Property Operations (Property Management), Sustainability and Energy Conservation, Insurance and Risk Management and Legal Matters. This support will include, but not be limited to, insurance and risk management support, property-level and portfolio reporting, interaction with property management teams, and the creation, management and implementation of policies and processes.

     

    Essential Duties:

    • Provide support to Real Estate Operations by maintaining the Property Manager and Active Properties Databases and ensuring the proper distribution of information.
    • Monitor the Tenant Information Database, Response Rates and Action Plans in support of the annual Kingsley Tenant Satisfaction Survey.  Assist in the preparation of the presentation package for Asset and Senior Management.
    • Maintain KPI data related to energy and water consumption and waste data.  Follow up with property Managers and others to ensure complete and timely data.
    • Perform compliance reviews of Property Management Agreements for Insurance Provisions and other items.
    • Provide support for Insurance and Risk Management including data collection and compliance with Guidelines.  Assist in Claims Reporting follow up, Loss Control information and underwriting data.
    • Demonstrate a high level of initiative, creativeness and ownership by assisting with the timely resolution of various property-level issues. Resolve with minimal supervisory oversight.
    • Contribute to the improvement of existing processes and promote the adoption of best practices as related to the above duties and responsibilities.
    • Support other departments with various projects related to Asset Management, Portfolio Management, Accounting, Acquisitions, Dispositions, Development, and Capital Markets, as needed.

    Requirements

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, Accounting, Communications, Facility/Property Management or related field.
    • 1 – 3 years of commercial real estate industry work experience.
    • Solid understanding of financial analysis concepts.
    • Ability to travel. Ability to regularly work extended hours.
    • Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job level.

    Key Competencies:

    • High level of proficiency in Excel and Word.
    • Accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Ability to prioritize assignments to meet numerous deadlines.
    • Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.  

    Physical Requirements:

    • Regularly required to sit for extended periods of time; frequently required to stand, walk, and use business equipment daily such as computer, copier, fax, telephone, etc.; frequently required to reach overhead, bend, and lift objects of up to 25 lbs.
    • Ability to handle stress caused by multiple priorities, and other unforeseen situations associated with the organization.
    • Eyesight and hearing must be correctable to standard level.
