    Job Description

    The Capital Markets Analyst provides financial analysis, due diligence and closing support for USAA Real Estate’s commercial real estate mortgage borrowing activities.

    Essential Duties:

    • Assist with financial modeling to analyze and compare various lender loan covenants and derivative options.
    • Compile and input quotes received on a financing request into a lender quote matrix.
    • Coordinate, compile and provide property-related due diligence materials to lenders. Coordinate with mortgage brokers, appraisers and other due diligence vendors as required.
    • Create financing memorandums as needed.
    • Maintain and input loan information into pipeline report and 3rd party software as needed.
    • Assist in gathering and distributing post-closing loan information.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or related field.
    • Commercial real estate industry work experience is preferred.
    • Excel and ARGUS experience is preferred.
    • Exposure to and firm understanding of financial concepts with time value of money.
    • Ability to regularly work extended hours and travel as needed.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Regularly required to sit for extended periods of time; frequently required to stand, walk, and use business equipment daily such as computer, copier, fax, telephone, etc.; frequently required to reach overhead, bend, and lift objects of up to 25 lbs.
    • Ability to handle stress caused by multiple priorities, and other unforeseen situations associated with the organization.
    • Eyesight and hearing must be correctable to standard level.
