Job Description

The Real Estate Data and Analytics Analyst provides operational support to Asset Management and other related departments.  This role coordinates and ensures integrity of data/information capture and usage.  The Analyst oversees property-level information and provides reporting on various metrics.  This role provides administrative and analytic support for leasing and other asset management activities. 

Essential Duties:

  • Update, maintain, and provide oversight of various real estate data and information.  Ensure data quality and integrity and provide reporting on property-related metrics. 
  • Explore and identify new opportunities to utilize data for informational efficiency and process improvement (e.g. business intelligence dashboards, systems integrations, and automation).
  • Support execution of commercial real estate leases by reviewing documents for completeness and accuracy and submitting final lease package to Accounting department by auditing required items, verifying entities, reviewing calculations, facilitating payment of lease commissions, and tracking lease activity.  Perform similar services for other documentary processes, as needed.
  • Oversee and maintain tenant-related data such as contact information, active lease options, letters of credit, and other documentation; update and maintain this data in the Accounting information system as required.
  • Perform risk assessment and controls testing on various departmental processes and procedures.
  • Obtain/maintain proficiency in new and existing applications and technologies.  As needed, facilitate adoption of new systems and processes by assisting and training other team members.
  • Support department on other miscellaneous projects.
  • Perform other essential duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Real Estate, Mathematics, or related field
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing and validating data in the associated applications and technology
  • Experience in the commercial real estate industry
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Familiarity with tenant/landlord leasing process
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job title

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience constructing Excel data queries and manipulating data using pivot tables
  • Familiarity with data warehousing tools such as SQL, PowerBI, and Informatica Data Quality
  • Knowledge of SharePoint
  • 2-3 years of commercial real estate experience
