Job Description

The Executive Director, Private Wealth Management establishes development and enhancement of the following High Net Worth channels: Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), Family Offices and Private Banks with the intent of attracting capital to the USAA Real Estate platform including the ODCE index investment strategies managed by IDR. This is done primarily through face-to-face meetings, as well as at industry conferences, with a goal of increasing real estate market share and building USAA Real Estate awareness and advocacy.


Essential Duties:

  • Using a consultative approach and a disciplined sales process, the Executive Director will identify and qualify appropriate prospects, work towards developing a ‘trusted advisor” relationship with clients, and help clients identify relevant solutions to address their investment and business need’s.
  • Responsible for both new business development and cross selling activities.
  • Conduct regular in-person meetings/presentations, webinars and conference calls, and participate in industry and client events.
  • Establishes and maintains constructive working relationships with RIAs, Family Offices and Private Banks.
  • Develops and maintains lists of prioritized prospects and key short- and long-term opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 10+ years of related work experience.
  • Series 7 and 66 Licenses; Series 63 and 65 may be substituted in lieu of series 66.
  • Ideal candidate will be a team player with proven leadership skills, problem solving skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills and superior presentation skills.
  • Position will be located in Texas - San Antonio (preferred) or Dallas. 
  • Must be willing to work on-site and show proof of COVID-19 vaccination (or request and receive an authorized exemption)
